Raiders Of The Lost Park...

Do you remember when you were a younger child and visiting a community park seemed like an enthralling adventure?  Now though, we are older, and the innocence of youth has been replaced by other desires.  Children always seem to believe that their future profession will be marvellously interesting - for example an astronaut, or an author like JK Rowling.  People today still say things like: "I wanna be rich like Alan Sugar!"  Hmm.  The reality is more bitter though when you sober up and realise the difficulties of getting a decent job.  Pressure on GCSE and A-Level qualifications are fundamental in today's society.   On the contrary, Lord Sugar and Sir Branson barely have a GCSE between them, but their tenacity has let to extraordinary success.  Their entrepreneurial drive has made them millions.  Maybe their is something to be learned from children's aspirations after all.

Have you seen the new Take That video "Kids"?  I think it's good actually, and I am no Take That fan.  They have though made progress from their 90's efforts.  Co-incidentally, the title of their current album is "progress."  They probably asked themselves: "what a shame we never listened..."  Robbie's re-introduction into the band seems to have had a positive impact on their music.  I have to admit, I do like Robbie Williams, especially songs like "Millennium."  Enough about men.  Kelly Brook has seemed to have made it into FHM (again).  Still looking good Kelly.  However, she has tough competition form Kelly Reilly, not mentioning Cheryl Cole ;)  Aside from all this, what a lovely day we have had today.  The sun was out, which is a rare sight in England and the skies were clear.  I feel like a bit of Fifa this weekend after not playing in ages.

Have a good weekend everyone,

From Goobs.
